VIDEO: Major Fire Erupts at Moscow’s Rio Shopping Center
A fire has broken out at the Rio shopping center located on Bolshaya Cheryomushkinskaya Street in Moscow, with the flames spreading from the first to the fourth floors, emergency services report.
Witnesses have reported smoke and fire spreading across several floors of the building, according to TASS.
Firefighter rescue teams and other emergency services have immediately responded to the scene. Firefighters have extinguished the open flames, emergency services report.
It is worth noting that the Rio chain of shopping and entertainment centers is owned by the Tashir Group of Companies, founded by businessman Samvel Karapetyan.
