VIDEO: Airplane Damaged in Sochi, Cause Identified

An airplane in Sochi suffered damage due to overloading, causing it to slide on the runway with its tail. Rosaviation has launched an investigation into the incident involving a Smartavia Boeing.

The pilot attempted to land, but due to the excessive load, the aircraft landed hard, striking its tail against the runway. The underside of the airplane is now covered in scratches.

There were 190 passengers onboard, and the cause of the overloading is currently unknown. Experts believe that the Boeing will likely be removed from service due to extensive damage. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported, and Rosaviation has started an inquiry into the incident.

Due to this emergency situation, Smartavia has been forced to delay some of its flights.
