Video: Severe Flooding Occurs in the USA

Severe flooding has occurred in Arkansas due to heavy rainfall. In certain areas of southwestern Connecticut, residents are facing floods and thunderstorms that have prompted flood warnings, road closures, and evacuations on Sunday.

About 50 campers in Oxford were stranded at Kettle's Pond State Park when flooding reached the bridges leading to the camping area. Will Hela, spokesperson for Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, stated that no one is in immediate danger, and officials are working on a plan for their evacuation.

George Temple, a member of the Oxford Town Council, advised residents to stay indoors on Sunday evening.
