At around 07:40, at the 123 km mark of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, a collision took place between a Mitsubishi vehicle driven by 36-year-old Sevak M. from Ararat Province and a Ford Transit driven by 34-year-old Davit L. from Vayots Dzor Province.

According to the website, as a result of the accident, both drivers and the 7 passengers from the mentioned vehicles were taken to the Vayots Dzor Medical Center with various injuries. An investigation has been initiated by the investigative department regarding the accident.
