Trump Blames Biden for War in Ukraine: 'He Shouldn't Have Let This Happen'

Former U.S. President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated during an appearance on Fox News that he expressed the necessity of stopping the conflict in Ukraine during a phone call with Volodymyr Zelensky.

“I said we need to end this conflict. This is a war machine. You are faced with a war machine... They (the Russians) defeated Hitler. They defeated Napoleon... And the spring offensive of the (Ukrainian armed forces) never happened,” he remarked.

At the same time, Trump labeled U.S. President Joe Biden as one of the culprits of the war. “Biden shouldn’t have let this happen. It was easy to stop,” he added.
