Prosecutor's Office Demands 6 Properties and 1 Billion 13 Million Drams from Former Kajaran Leader and Relatives

The Prosecutor's Office is demanding 6 real estate properties and 1 billion 13 million drams from Paramazyan and his relatives. This was stated by the Prosecutor of the Department for Seizure of Illegally Obtained Property, Rouzanna Khudaverdyan, in an interview with News.am.

“Specifically, the properties subject to seizure include 3 apartments in Yerevan, 2 vehicles in Kajaran, and one gas station. Additionally, there are 2 transportation vehicles, shares in 2 legal entities, and a total of 3 deposits amounting to approximately 5.5 million drams,” the prosecutor noted.

The first illegally obtained property was acquired by Paramazyan, who led the community for 7 years, in 2011, referring to the gas station. This property has been leased to the Copper-Molybdenum Combine since 2017, and the lease agreement is still active according to the relevant authorities. Given the nature of this property as illegally obtained, it is subject to confiscation, and thus, the funds obtained from the lease are also subject to confiscation in the same proportion as that of the property’s illegality,” the prosecutor explained.
