Kremlin Asks Turkey to 'Absolutely Not' Supply Modern Weapons to Ukraine
The Kremlin has requested Turkey not to supply modern weapons to Ukraine 'under any circumstances.' This was reported by the Brief Telegram channel. According to sources, the warning came against the backdrop of unofficial information suggesting that Turkish authorities were preparing to secretly supply a range of military equipment to Kyiv.
Through all possible channels, Ankara has been informed that such actions are unacceptable and would lead to 'extremely sad consequences' for bilateral relations. Following this, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's team reached out to the Kremlin and assured that such options were 'not seriously discussed.'
The Turkish side claims that NATO leadership has repeatedly requested Ankara to provide significant military assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but 'the response to these requests has allegedly always been exclusively negative,' insiders add.
