Pashinyan Presents Armenia's Fundamental Positions on Border Delimitation to Scholz

The meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz took place at Blenheim Palace. According to the government press service, the two officials emphasized the importance of developing political and economic cooperation between Armenia and Germany and taking consistent steps in that direction.

The discussion also touched upon the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Pashinyan presented Armenia's fundamental positions regarding the border delimitation process and the possibilities for unblocking regional infrastructures.

They delved into the humanitarian issues faced by those forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh and the steps needed to address these challenges. The Prime Minister detailed the long-term programs being implemented by the Armenian government in this direction, including housing provision projects.

Both sides underscored the necessity of continuous support from the international community in addressing the needs of displaced persons. Additionally, the conversation addressed the further development of Armenia-EU cooperation.
