Hovik Aghazaryan Ready to Travel to Baku Instead of Nikol Pashinyan
I don’t think it’s worth going to Baku at the prime minister’s level to participate in COP 29, but I believe participation is important. This was stated by the MP of the ruling Civil Contract party, Hovik Aghazaryan, in an interview with 'PastiInfo'.
“I believe that any deputy minister from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or any MP from the National Assembly can participate in that summit. It needs to be attended at that level; what does the prime minister have to do with it?” he remarked.
When asked if he would attend as an MP, Aghazaryan responded that he would go if such a mandate was given.
Regarding security issues, he stated, “Life is a risk; if I worry about such things, I shouldn’t live. I don’t have such concerns, right?”
