Hail, Heavy Rain, and Temperature Drop: Upcoming Weather

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, from July 16-17, isolated regions will experience short-term rain and thunderstorms, while from July 18-20, significant portions of the regions are expected to see similar weather with possible heavy rain and hail. This information is reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

The wind will be from the southwest at speeds of 2-5 m/s, and during thunderstorms, wind intensification is anticipated, reaching speeds of 19-24 m/s. In the evening hours, wind intensification of 18-23 m/s is expected in Armavir, Kotayk, and the foothills of Aragatsotn.

The temperature is expected to gradually decrease by 4-5 degrees during the daytime from July 18-20. In Yerevan, on July 16-17, there is a possibility of short-term rain and thunderstorms during the night and evening in various parts of the city. From July 18-20, short-term rain and thunderstorms are anticipated. Wind intensification of 18-23 m/s is expected during thunderstorms and in the evening.

On July 16, the daytime temperature in the capital will be between 33-35 degrees, while in the evening, it will register around +25 to +27 degrees.
