PM Pashinyan May Have Instructed Vahe Ghazaryan to Gather Compromising Materials Against Mayors: 'Hraparak'
Interior Minister Vahe Ghazaryan, accompanied by deputies and other senior officials, will visit Kapan today. This was reported by the newspaper 'Hraparak'.
'In Kapan, Interior Minister Vahe Ghazaryan will meet with citizens,' announced the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Despite assurances from the system that regional meetings with citizens are nothing new, and the police chief regularly holds such meetings, we could not find any information in open sources indicating that Vahe Ghazaryan has ever held such a meeting.
After the change of power, Valeri Osipyan was known for his engagement with citizens, and following each meeting, the communicated messages often emphasized that the issues of concern to citizens were 'mainly related to past crimes and the actions of police officers.'
Our sources in the region do not rule out that Pashinyan may have instructed Vahe Ghazaryan to gather compromising materials against Parsi and other mayors, essentially launching a witch hunt under the guise of addressing citizen complaints,' the newspaper writes.
