Today, on July 9, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. At around 12:00 PM, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call reporting that a car was burning near the address 54/7 Arin Berd Street.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, a firefighting unit from Yerevan’s Fire-Rescue Service No. 6 was dispatched to the scene, along with an additional firefighting unit from No. 3.

Before the firefighters arrived, citizens and the driver attempted to extinguish the fire in the Lexus vehicle parked near a factory on Arin Berd Street. The firefighters managed to extinguish the fire, but the car was completely turned to a pile of ash.

Shamshyan reports that, fortunately, there were no injuries as a result of the fire. The driver had parked the car in the specified location and had stepped out to engage in conversation with a friend when he noticed the vehicle was on fire. His wife was also in the car, and the driver was able to quickly pull her out of the vehicle.
