Hospitals Are Bloodied; People Trapped Under Rubble: Death Toll Rises in Kyiv After Russian Attack
On the morning of July 8, the death toll from a massive missile attack on Kyiv has already reached 10, with 35 others injured.
Kyiv’s city mayor, Vitali Klitschko, reported that two men who were hospitalized due to today's attack have died in one of the city’s hospitals.
Investigators have recorded damage to and destruction of civilian infrastructure across seven districts of the capital. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, the Okhmatdyt children's hospital has been affected, and there are reports of devastation. In Holosiivskyi, a kindergarten and residential building have been damaged, and cars are on fire.
In the Solomianskyi district, an office building has sustained damage. Rubble from a residential building is burning in Dniprovskyi. A private house has been damaged in Darnytskyi, while remnants of a residential building are ablaze in Sviatoshynskyi. A fire has also erupted in the area of one of the enterprises.
A house fire has broken out in Desnianskyi. Emergency services and investigative-operational teams are currently working at the scene.
