Argument, Brawl, and Stabbing in a Nightclub in Syunik

On July 5, at 4:40 AM, the Syunik regional operational management center received a call reporting that a 20-year-old resident of the village of Ajanan had been admitted to the “Kapan” medical center with a stab wound to the chest. According to the doctor, his life is not in danger.

The report was forwarded to the Kapan police department, from where an operational group was dispatched to the hospital. Through operational investigative measures, it was determined that around 2 AM, in a nightclub located in Syunik, the injured young man had an argument with a 29-year-old resident of the village of Halidzor. The two then went outside to the courtyard of the club, where during the brawl, the 29-year-old from Halidzor stabbed the 20-year-old with a knife he had on him.

As a result of the measures taken and explanatory work, the assailant presented himself to the police department, admitted his guilt, and provided the weapon used in the crime. He and the compiled documents were forwarded to the Syunik regional investigative department for further clarification of the circumstances.
