1-Year-Old Child Falls from 2nd Floor Window of an Apartment

On July 9, an emergency incident occurred in the Ararat province. Around 09:20, operational information was received at the Ararat regional department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia and the Ararat division that a child had accidentally fallen from the second floor window of an apartment in the Araratian massif of Ararat city, according to Shamshyan.com.

The Ararat Medical Center notified the Ararat police division that a child had been transported to them, accompanied by civilians, with a diagnosis of "polytrauma, closed cranio-cerebral injury, concussion," and is in extremely serious condition.

Doctors provided the necessary medical assistance at the scene and are discussing the possibility of transferring the child to one of the specialized hospitals in Yerevan.

Officers from the Ararat police division at the scene identified the victim as 1-year-old David M., a resident of the Ararat province. It was determined that around 08:10, he had climbed onto the windowsill of their bedroom, leaned against the net installed on the European window, which gave way, causing him to fall from the second-floor window. Neighbors noticed the incident and quickly transported him to the hospital.
