Cadet Killed in Airplane Crash Near Yeghvard was a Student of School No. 52
The cadet killed in the airplane crash near Yeghvard was Armen Karen Khachaturyan, a student of School No. 52. The school has issued a statement regarding the tragedy.
“It is unbelievable, unacceptable… At this moment of pain and loss, we extend our condolences to his family members and relatives and express our support, as coming to terms with this is difficult. May your soul rest in light, dear Armen… Our deepest respect, patriotic son,” the statement reads.
It is noted that on July 19, a Yak-52 training aircraft belonging to the Ministry of Defense crashed in the area known as “Lchher” near Yeghvard, resulting in the deaths of one officer and one cadet. The deceased include Senior Lieutenant Armen Khachik Isakhanian and Cadet Armen Karen Khachaturyan.
