Stabbing in Yerevan: Doctors Fight for Man's Life, Arrests Made

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a stabbing incident occurred in Yerevan on June 18. Around 23:55, the police operational management center received a report stating that, as a result of a dispute on Admiral Isakov Avenue, a 30-year-old resident of Yerevan, Sasun D., was admitted to the Astghik Medical Center with "stab wounds to the abdominal wall".

As reported by a photojournalist, a 42-year-old resident of Yerevan, Armen U., was involved in an argument over household matters with Sasun D. and his father, 48-year-old Artak D., alongside his sons, 20-year-old Gevorg A. and 19-year-old Garik A. During the confrontation, Armen U. struck Artak D. with a stone he had on him, while Gevorg A. stabbed Sasun D. twice with a knife, causing the mentioned injuries.

The Malatia police department is taking measures to locate the knife used in the crime. A criminal case has been initiated in the Malatia investigative department regarding the incident.
