Emergency Situation in Shirak Province: Bomb Threat at Airport

Today, July 2nd, an emergency incident occurred in Shirak Province. According to a report by shamshyan.com, around 08:50 AM, the Shirak Provincial Directorate of the Police received a notification that a bomb had been placed at Shirak Airport in Gyumri and was set to explode.

As reported by a photojournalist, the area has been cordoned off by police patrols. Airport staff have been evacuated, and currently, the rescue teams and sappers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working on site.

Police documentation is being prepared at the Kumayri police station regarding the incident.
