Alarming Statement Made in Ukraine
An alarming statement has been made regarding air defense in Ukraine. The primary reason for the deteriorating energy situation in Ukraine is the lack of anti-aircraft defense missiles, according to Dmitry Sakharuk, the CEO of the Ukrainian energy company DTEK, as reported by Kyiv Post.
“It seems that for every missile we have, there are five to six Russian missiles following it. Therefore, even if we start to recover, begin to repair, there is currently no way to protect our restored units,” he said.
In turn, Vladimir Kudritskiy, the CEO of Ukrenergo, pointed out that Ukraine has lost nearly half of its electricity generation capacity since March 2024. In April, DTEK energy holding announced that Ukraine's air defense is weaker than it was a few months ago.
