Special Quarantine Regime Extended in Azerbaijan Until October 1
A special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan has been extended for an additional three months. It will remain in effect throughout the territory of the republic until October 1, 2024, at 06:00 AM. This was announced by the press service of the Azerbaijani government following a decree signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
According to the document, the extension of the special quarantine regime aims to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) within the country and its possible consequences. It is worth noting that this deadline was previously extended to April 1 of this year. Furthermore, the government had lifted certain restrictions related to the special quarantine regime last March.
