Garnik Danielyan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction, stated this during a conversation with reporters on Baghramyan Avenue today, June 10.

“I believe there will be a positive opinion. Those who have been long-time members of parliament say that it is entirely realistic to also hold an extraordinary session during the four-day meetings. This cannot be an obstacle,” he said.

When asked on what basis he assumes that a positive conclusion will be made, considering that the majority in the National Assembly Council consists of PP members, Garnik Danielyan replied, “What we have proposed is completely within the bounds of legality and logic. We have the right to realize our opportunities. This is one of our tools. If they try to obstruct, I believe they will not succeed.”

In response to the remark that government deputies exclude voting for Bishop Bagrat, the deputy said, “They say one thing in front of the cameras, and something completely different elsewhere. At our rallies, there are people from their friends, relatives, and family members. Many of the brothers of these deputies also participate. They say that these deputies are captives there, and they are not reconciled with that reality either. Not all, but there are people who are being kept under the threat of kompromat, blackmail, and threats, and they want people to gather so that, under that pressure, they will also become part of these processes. If our citizens decide that Nikol Pashinyan and the PP are no longer in power, they will not be in power.

Speaking about the fact that Bishop Bagrat's dual citizenship is an obstacle for him to be nominated as a candidate for Prime Minister, Danielyan stated, “That issue will be resolved. There are many things that cannot be disclosed publicly. You will see. Everything is normal, let the processes go in order, the National Assembly Council session will take place at 4:00 PM today, and we will talk about the rest of the matters.”
