What You Said From Here, It's Still You... I Am a Boy from Ijevan, I Stand by My Words: Garnik Danielyan
There is no need to label and degrade, saying you are clowns using a punchline; have you looked at yourselves? This was stated by Garnik Danielyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, from the podium of the National Assembly, addressing the government.
“You are both using a punchline and a clown, and everything you have said from this podium. Insults will get our country nowhere. In recent days, I have faced numerous insults and threats against my family, but I have never thought that this was a deliberate act organized by you. A person should not think according to their degree of degradation. I apologize that the National Assembly has turned into a platform of mutual insults during this critical time,” emphasized the parliament member.
Garnik Danielyan highlighted that he is ready to speak, think, and act for the interests of the Motherland and the Republic of Armenia to the very end. “You speak of personal insults — those people who used to call you ‘eternal body sellers’ were the ones who were entrenched in the Prosperous Armenia Party at the time, and now they have entrenched themselves elsewhere. I am a boy from Ijevan, and I am always ready to speak. I do not place my personal matters above my country,” concluded the parliament member.
According to Garnik Danielyan, if there has been a movement, he has been the first to engage in that movement and fight against injustice. “This mandate is worthless to me, and this chair means nothing compared to the country. I have thought about it a hundred times and told my friends that I don't even need this mandate; I don’t even want to stay here for a minute,” he said.
