VIDEO: Church Component Should Be Reduced, Says RPA Deputy About Shogakat TV

The deputy from the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Vahagn Aleksanyan, posed a question to the Chairman of the Public Television and Radio Committee, Tigran Hakobyan, regarding the ownership of the TV channel 'Shogakat': “According to the law, educational and cultural programs should be broadcasted. We have sent an official letter to the head of the Public Council. We have a problem because the largest component there is religious, which should be reduced, and there should be programs for which 'Shogakat' is funded by the state,” Hakobyan said.
