Armenia Has Done Nothing for CSTO: Pashinyan
Armenia has done nothing for the CSTO; the CSTO has acted on its own through its statements and actions, as well as its inaction. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in an interview with British media.
“We have now entered a practical phase of the border delimitation process, which is extremely important, particularly from the perspective of reducing security risks. We should not redraw a new border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We simply need to reproduce on the ground the borders that existed at the time of the collapse of the Soviet Union and which had de jure legal grounds within the Soviet Union’s borders,” he said. “Armenia has done nothing for the CSTO; the CSTO has acted on its own through its statements and actions, as well as its inaction. And under these circumstances, we cannot simply pretend that we do not notice all this,” he added.
