Video: New Footage of the Fire in Residential Building in Istanbul, Death Toll Reaches 25

The death toll from the fire that broke out in a residential building in the center of Istanbul has reached 25. Previously, reports indicated 15 victims.

"The cause of the fire is unknown; renovation work was taking place on the first floor, and all the deceased were workers who were renovating the nightclub," said the governor of Istanbul.

It is worth noting that the fire broke out in a nightclub located on the first floor of a 16-story building in the Şişli district of Istanbul. The club had been closed due to the holy month of Ramadan.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
