VIDEO: Militants Arrested in Dagestan Were Preparing Terrorist Attack, FSB Reports

Militants have been arrested in Dagestan, who were involved in financing those who executed a terrorist act at the "Crocus City Hall" concert hall. This has been reported by the FSB of Russia.

It was noted that they also planned a terrorist attack in the city of Kaspiysk, Dagestan. "On March 31, 2024, the FSB prevented the activities of a terrorist cell in Dagestan, consisting of four foreign nationals who were preparing a terrorist act in densely populated areas in Kaspiysk. The criminals conducted reconnaissance of the area, prepared an improvised explosive device, and acquired a firearm," the statement read.

Immediately after the terrorist act in Kaspiysk, the foreigners intended to leave Russian territory. The militants were discovered as part of enhanced security measures following the terrorist act at "Crocus City Hall." Early in the morning, FSB special forces arrested them in Kaspiysk.

One of the arrested confessed to smuggling firearms to those carrying out the terrorist act at "Crocus City Hall"; the weapon was brought from Makhachkala to Mitishchi. The detainees also transferred money to those responsible for the attack.
