Video: Results of Police Service in Yerevan and Regions for Last Week

From January 15 to 22, during the service conducted in the capital, the Yerevan police identified 5,584 violations of traffic regulations, moving 193 vehicles to designated areas. Specifically, 168 drivers were found driving under the influence, while 261 individuals operated vehicles without a driver's license. Other offenses included 42 related to registration plates, 1 for driving with sirens or flashing lights, 261 for not wearing seatbelts, 182 for using tobacco products while driving, 93 for using a mobile phone while driving, 1,491 for pedestrians crossing at non-designated areas, and 1,954 other violations. Additionally, 137 vehicles were operated without compulsory insurance contracts, 203 without passing technical inspections, 126 with faulty exterior lights, and 413 with tinted windows.

Moreover, 55 individuals were arrested on various charges and taken to police precincts. During the same period in the regions, police discovered 14,629 violations of traffic regulations, relocating 206 vehicles to designated areas. Among these, 209 drivers were found under the influence and 848 were without a driving license. There were 91 violations related to registration plates, 2,404 for not wearing seatbelts, 185 for using tobacco products while driving, 333 for using a mobile phone, 943 for pedestrians crossing at non-designated areas, 1,425 for exceeding speed limits, and 3,881 other violations. 344 vehicles were operated without compulsory insurance, 1,536 without passing technical inspections, and 1,206 with faulty exterior lights, including 82 trucks and 544 with tinted windows. Additionally, 45 individuals were arrested on various charges and taken to local police stations.
