VIDEO: "You Are Not in a School Journal" - Nikol Pashinyan to Levon Kocharyan as Tensions Rise in Parliament
“I would advise you to try to phrase that same question more appropriately next time so that it becomes a proper poem for the fourth grade, and perhaps it will evoke some interest and attention. I want to remind you that you are not in a school journal, and you must maintain decorum in the National Assembly; otherwise, I believe you will have opportunities to remember where you are. This is my advice to you, and I hope you won’t give me a reason to repeat this advice,” said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in response to a question from Levon Kocharyan, a member of the National Assembly from the ‘Armenia’ faction.
Earlier, Levon Kocharyan had asked the Prime Minister, “Do you acknowledge that all proposals are rejected by Aliyev? Now you are proposing something new—mutual monitoring of armaments. Is Aliyev allowing you to monitor Azerbaijan's armaments, or is this also going to be a one-sided concession? Don’t you see that your fake peace is a failed agenda, and you are also failing?”
