A Magnetic Storm Will Strike Earth Tomorrow
A new magnetic storm is expected to hit Earth tomorrow, January 23. This information comes from the predictions made by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Institute of Space Research and the Solar-Terrestrial Physics Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. According to the graphic published on the website, the Earth’s magnetosphere will be unsettled on the night of January 23, with the storm beginning around 7:00 AM Yerevan time and continuing until approximately after midday. The forecasted storm has been classified as G1 (minor) level.
The strength of magnetic storms is rated on a scale of five. G1 level storms are the weakest, while G5 represents extremely strong storms.
