Accident in Gegharkunik: Driver’s Body Found 4 Meters from Vehicle

Today, at 08:18 AM, the crisis management center of the Gegharkunik regional rescue department received a report about a traffic accident near the village of Tsapatagh, indicating there is a fatality. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that on the 40th km of the Vardenis-Jambarak road, a Volkswagen vehicle (driver: N.G., born in 1990) had exited the roadway (approximately 10 meters) and ended up in a field area. The driver’s body was located about 4 meters away from the vehicle.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle’s battery and closed the gas cylinder valve.
