Major Accident in Kotayk: One Child and One Pregnant Woman Among Six Injured

Today, a major traffic accident occurred in the Kotayk region due to icy road conditions. Shamshyan.com reports on the incident.

Around 14:00, a Mercedes Viano vehicle veered off the roadway at kilometer 29 of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, near the 'Akhperner' food point, crashing into an outdoor refrigerator and sign belonging to the establishment.

As a result of the accident, six individuals were injured, including a minor and a pregnant woman, and were transported with various degrees of bodily injuries to the 'Charentsavan' medical center.

The first to assist the injured were the staff of the mentioned food establishment, along with the emergency medical team from 'Charentsavan' who arrived promptly and provided first aid on-site before transferring the injured to the hospital.

A criminal case has been initiated in the investigative department regarding the accident, which will determine the identities of the driver and the injured parties.
