Fire in Yerevan Results in Casualty

Today, at 06:32, the National Crisis Management Center received a call regarding a fire that broke out in one of the apartments of building number 95 on Sherami Street in Yerevan. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Four firefighting teams, one aerial ladder, and operational personnel from the National Crisis Management Center and the Department for the Organization of Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Operations were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained by 07:16 and was extinguished by 07:29. The damage includes burnt property in the bedroom (12 sqm), doors of the bathroom and toilet, partial burning of the hallway, and scorching of the living room.

First responders safely evacuated S.A. (born in 1996), who was hospitalized. His health condition has been assessed as satisfactory.
