Parking in Yerevan's Parking Lots is Free from 10 PM to 9 AM: Who is Exempt from Fees

Starting January 1, new rates for parking in Yerevan's parking lots will be established, which will now be calculated according to the city's zoning. Notably, parking from 10 PM to 9 AM is free of charge, and no local fee will be collected.

It should be noted that drivers of electric vehicles are completely exempt from parking fees and will not need to provide documentation, as their information is available in the relevant databases. Persons with mobility disabilities are also exempt from fees, but they must submit an application to the city hall once a year.

This information was announced by the Yerevan Municipality. It was reported that there will be no local fee charged for parking up to 15 minutes; for parking longer than 15 minutes, the established fee for one hour must be paid within 15 minutes of parking.

Zone “A” includes the area bounded by the streets of Saint Gregory the Illuminator, Agatangeghos, Khanchyan, Alek Manukyan, Charents, Koryun, Abovyan Park, Isahakyan, Moscow, Saryan, and Leo, particularly Arai, Amiryan, Buzandi, Gevorg Kochar, Zakyan, Zoryan, Tumanyan, Italy, Leo, Karen Demirchyan, Kogbatsu, Republic, Melik Adamyan, Mher Mkrtchyan / Tigran the Great Avenue to Khorenatsi Street / a part of Republic Avenue, Pushkin, Saryan, Vazgen Sargsyan, typographers, Isahakyan, Movses Khorenatsi / from Mashtots Avenue to Agatangeghos Street, Moscow, Nalbandyan, Vardanants / from Sakharov Square to Khanchyan Street, Teryan, Alek Manukyan, Abovyan, Charents, Koryun, Agatangeghos, Saint Gregory the Illuminator, Beirut, Khanchyan, Paronian streets, Baghramyan / from Mashtots Avenue to Isahakyan Street, Mashtots, Sayat Nova, Tigran the Great / from Republic Square to Agatangeghos Street / avenues, Shahumyan, and Sakharov squares.

Zone “B” includes other streets, avenues, and squares recognized as municipal property by the December 25, 2012, decision No. 561-N of the Yerevan City Council located outside Zone “A.”
