VIDEO: Plane Collides with Snowbank During Landing in Chelyabinsk
During landing at Chelyabinsk Airport, an Aeroflot plane collided with a snowbank. This has been reported by multiple media outlets.
Passengers were not allowed to disembark for more than two hours. Due to heavy snowfall, flights in Chelyabinsk and Tyumen are being significantly delayed, with some delays reaching up to 12 hours.
The airline stated that the airport had not carried out sufficient snow clearance, and the aircraft had to be towed away. The plane has since departed to Moscow on the return flight.
