Video: Witnessed Dog Massacre in Hrazdan, Society Divided, says Areqnaz Manukyan

Recently, according to official information, schoolchildren were frightened by stray dogs while on their way to school, causing one of them to fall and hit their head on the pavement, resulting in death. This was announced today, December 8, in the National Assembly by Areqnaz Manukyan, an MP from the 'Armenia' faction, who added that this was followed by a hate campaign against stray dogs.

“In fact, we witnessed a massacre of dogs in Hrazdan yesterday. Stray dogs were brutally killed, shot multiple times. This has inflamed anger among animal rights activists. These two incidents have divided society into two parts: people who insist that stray animals must be exterminated, and animal lovers who argue that it is human behavior that drives these animals to attack,” she said. “This is undoubtedly the result of the government and law enforcement's inadequate work. The government must provide an effective sterilization system, which is currently failing.”

It should be noted that animal rights activists held a protest today in front of the prosecutor's office, bringing with them the body of one of the killed dogs.
