VIDEO: ‘We Will Meet in Court’ – Torosyan to Harutyunyan
Arsen Torosyan, a member of the 'Civil Contract' faction in the National Assembly, responded with a speech directed at Haykuhi Harutyunyan, who has been nominated for the vacant position on the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption. Torosyan stated, 'I regret that I have not been your hero, and it's unlikely that I will be, but at least it seems I am the anti-hero and will continue to be one, which comforts me... And secondly, Ms. Harutyunyan, we will probably meet in court over the defamation that you expressed here.'
It is noteworthy that in her concluding remarks today, Haykuhi Harutyunyan said, 'Mr. Torosyan, you are not my hero and will never be, but I suggest that when discussing conflicts of interest, you respond to how the organization led by your wife increased the value of its contract to over 350 million during your tenure as Minister of Health.'
