Video: Putin's Plane Accompanied by Four Su-35S Fighters from Abu Dhabi to Riyadh

The press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, has announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin's plane will be escorted by Su-35S fighters on its way from the UAE to Saudi Arabia and then back to Russia. His statements were quoted by RIA Novosti.

Four Su-35S fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces, with top-tier pilots and a range of standard armaments, have already escorted the presidential aircraft from Moscow to Abu Dhabi.

Earlier, the President of the UAE informed Putin about the increase of investments in the Russian economy. UAE leader Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized that the relationship between Moscow and Abu Dhabi is historical in nature. He added that the UAE is Russia's largest trading partner in the Middle East and pays great attention to cooperation in the fields of energy and high technologies.

In turn, Putin invited the UAE leader to the upcoming BRICS 2024 summit to be held in Kazan and noted the unprecedented high level of Russian-UAE relations.
