Turkey Issues Strong Statements Against Israel Again

The head of Turkey's Ministry of Justice, Yılmaz Tunç, has commented on a group of citizens' initiative to file a lawsuit against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the International Criminal Court (ICC), stating that Israel will ultimately face the Hague court for war crimes in Gaza.

“Israel will sooner or later stand before the court to be held accountable because it is killing children in front of the eyes of the entire world. For this, it will definitely be held accountable,” said the minister in an interview with Milliyet newspaper.

According to him, “if they are not able to do this today, the criminals will still find themselves in the dock of the ICC years later.” The head of Turkey's Ministry of Justice also drew attention to the inability of international organizations to resolve crises like the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
