This is a Historic Budget: Nikol Pashinyan

The state budget for 2024 is a historic budget from historic times. This was announced today by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the discussion of the state budget in the National Assembly.

“Why is it historic? Because both revenues and expenditures are doubling. Defense expenditures have also doubled; however, this is not preparation for war, but for peace. Our neighbors are confident that we have no intention of attacking anyone. Primary healthcare has been elevated to a higher level, resulting in the lowest mortality rate recorded in Armenia in the last six years from January to September 2023, alongside a natural maximum increase,” said the Prime Minister.

According to Nikol Pashinyan, it is the duty of a sovereign state to continuously reform its armed forces and strengthen the military, which is being done. Additionally, the Prime Minister stated that over the past ten years, Azerbaijan's defense expenditures have been, on average, three times higher than those of Armenia.
