Explosion at Yerevan State University

An explosion has occurred in a building at Yerevan State University (YSU). According to preliminary reports from ‘Pasticinfo’, the explosion took place in the chemistry building.

Currently, vehicles from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Fire Department are heading to the scene. There are unconfirmed reports of casualties.

Infocom also reports that a fire has broken out in one of the YSU buildings, where the faculties of Chemistry and Geography and the Institute of Pharmacy are located. Three to four vehicles from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' rescue service, as well as an ambulance, have arrived at the scene.
