Thieves Don't Serve Plunder on a Silver Platter: Nikol Pashinyan
We are often criticized for not retrieving the funds embezzled from the country with proper diligence. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a session in the National Assembly.
He noted that while such criticisms are understood, he also mentioned, "The embezzled funds are not neatly arranged in the drawers of known thieves; fortunately or unfortunately, they have not been placed inside a 'bucket' for us to simply enter, take, and leave. These funds are carefully concealed, hidden in various places, often outside of Armenia."
The Prime Minister elaborated that thieves do not serve their plunder on a silver platter but resist in every possible way, including hiding behind textbooks, security threats, the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, and various other concerns. According to Pashinyan, they are attempting to incite political instability, spending millions on counter-propaganda against legal authorities and representatives of power.
