The Missed Bullet of October 27 is Heading Towards Syunik: Aram Sargsyan

Aram Sargsyan, the leader of the Republic Party and former Prime Minister, stated that he was summoned twice for questioning by the National Security Service (NSS) last year regarding the October 27 case.

"It was quite a lengthy and exhausting questioning. After that, I haven't been called again because there was nothing new for me to say related to the case, especially since there were old testimonies," Sargsyan told reporters today at the Yerevan Military Pantheon on October 27.

Regarding the disclosure of the October 27 case, he emphasized that the main responsibility lies with the NSS, which can provide information about any foreign political implications and either confirm or deny their existence. Since this has neither been confirmed nor denied, he notes that this hypothesis remains unresolved, and the October 27 incident remains undisclosed.

Sargsyan believes that each person has their own understanding of the October 27 incident. "I think justice and fairness have the meaning of convincing the public that your viewpoints are either right or wrong. Unfortunately, our justice system has not achieved that so far. I would very much like us to become a state where the justice system can address such a challenging case, which in my opinion undoubtedly has foreign political implications, and where the missed bullet is still heading towards Syunik, can be uncovered," said Aram Sargsyan.
