Lavrov and Bayramov Hold Phone Conversation
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Azerbaijan, Sergey Lavrov and Jeyhun Bayramov, have held a phone conversation, as reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"The discussion focused on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, including issues related to humanitarian aid, the rights and security of the local Armenian population. The ways to implement the package of trilateral agreements reached at the highest level from 2020 to 2022 were reviewed, including the drafting of a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan, the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and the unblocking of transport communications."
"Several topics of the bilateral and regional agenda will also be touched upon. An agreement has been reached on further contacts at various levels. Bilateral issues have also been addressed," the ministry’s statement reads.
