Anna Hakobyan Donates 1050 Gadgets to Ukrainian Schoolchildren
The wife of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Anna Hakobyan, visited the Ministry of Education of Ukraine today and provided humanitarian aid to Ukrainian schoolchildren receiving online education. This was reported by the Armenian Embassy in Ukraine.
Hakobyan donated 1,050 gadgets (smartphones, tablets, and laptops) to the schoolchildren. She handed over the gifts to the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Oksen Lisovoy.
It was noted that the gadgets are intended for students from schools that have switched to online education.
“They are children displaced due to the conflicts, children with disabilities, children from low-income families, or those deprived of parental care,” the statement highlighted.
The laptops and tablets will be delivered to educational institutions, while the smartphones will be provided to children so they can communicate with their peers.
