There is not much to congratulate. Pashinyan on not congratulating the president of Artsakh
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated, "I believe the situation is such that there is not much to congratulate. This was said in response to a question from Public Television about why he did not congratulate the newly appointed president of Artsakh, Samvel Shahramanyan.
Regarding the newly elected leader of Nagorno-Karabakh, Samvel Shahramanyan, he said, "I think the situation is such that there is not much to congratulate, and he carries a heavy responsibility." At the same time, he noted, "I regret the resignation of Araik Harutyunyan, and I can say that throughout our work, there has been a very good working atmosphere and mutual understanding between us."
“Today we must also adhere to the logic of aligning our positions and approaches with that of the international community and not contradicting it, considering the idea of not politicizing the humanitarian crisis established in Nagorno-Karabakh, as our focus should be on overcoming the humanitarian crisis present in Nagorno-Karabakh, and we must not allow the essence of the humanitarian issue to be transformed into political by excessive politicization. Our approaches stem from this logic,” he added.
According to him, communication between the authorities of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh is being maintained: “I believe it is important to obtain information from the first source to understand the situation.”
