I Have Said Yes: Pashinyan Reiterates Armenia's Recognition of Azerbaijan's Territorial Integrity Including Artsakh
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has reaffirmed on Public Television that Armenia recognizes Azerbaijan's territorial integrity of 86,600 square kilometers, including Artsakh. "I have been asked whether Artsakh is included in the 86,600 square kilometers, and I have said yes," he stated.
Pashinyan noted that the Armenian government's approach to the resolution of the situation has been guided by this declaration, demonstrating Armenia's commitment to the agreements reached with Azerbaijan in Brussels.
"Azerbaijan does not always demonstrate adherence to agreements," he added. According to Pashinyan, Azerbaijan has showcased its approach to resolving issues through force, and Armenia is attempting to manage potential force scenarios through political statements. "We want to ensure that Armenia's positions are articulated in a way that their legitimacy remains unassailable," Pashinyan said.
