A landslide has occurred near the Shio-Mgvime Monastery, located 30 kilometers from the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. This information has been reported by Sputnik Georgia, referencing eyewitness accounts. Currently, it is noted that no one has been injured. Part of the slope from a nearby mountain has collapsed.

The video captures the moment of the landslide and shows how tourists hurriedly leave the monastery area.

The Shio-Mgvime Monastery is a medieval monastic architectural complex near the city of Mtskheta. It is situated in a narrow limestone gorge on the northern bank of the Mtkvari (Kura) River.
