Driver was a minor, rescuers retrieved the bodies of 3 children: details from the accident in Vedi involving a car in a water channel
Details have emerged regarding the accident on August 27 in the city of Vedi, where a car fell into a water channel. This was reported by the Armenian Rescue Service.
On the 9th kilometer of the Vedi-New Highway, a "Mercedes-Benz" vehicle (driver: S. Sh., born in 2008) veered off the roadway and ended up upside down in the water channel.
Rescuers righted the vehicle using a tow truck, retrieving the bodies of the driver and one of the passengers (V. S., born in 2010), lifted the car out of the channel using a crane, and then retrieved the body of the other passenger (E. Gh., born in 2008). The vehicle was de-energized, moved to the towing truck, and the bodies were transferred to an ambulance.
