Car Falls into Canal in Vedi: 3 Bodies Retrieved from Vehicle

On August 27, at 14:03, the Emergency Management Center of the Ararat regional rescue service received a report that a car had fallen into a canal in the city of Vedi. This was reported by the Armenian Rescue Service.

“A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to the scene,” the statement said.

According to Shamshyan.com, rescuers retrieved three bodies from the overturned Mercedes vehicle, and work is ongoing as there are reports that there may be one more person in the car.

The police and investigative department are working to identify the driver and the deceased.
