A man in the Krasnodar region of Russia attacked a woman with a knife on the beach. The man, driven by jealousy, stabbed the woman 15 times.

According to investigators, a 25-year-old man launched the knife attack on a 35-year-old woman at a beach in the Tuapse district of Kuban. This incident was reported by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"According to investigators, on Friday evening, at the beach area of a health resort in the village of Sosnovy in the Tuapse district, the suspect inflicted 15 stab wounds on his acquaintance, aged 35, from Salekhard, motivated by jealousy. Witnesses restrained the man, and timely medical assistance was provided to the victim. The suspect attempted to flee, but he was apprehended and handed over to law enforcement. A criminal case has been initiated against the 25-year-old local resident, who is charged with attempted murder," the report states.

Media reports indicate that the woman received necessary first aid and was hospitalized, and she is currently in critical condition.
